Building a Culture of Life in Gaston County, and Across North Carolina

Crisis Pregnancy Center affirms the God-given value of every human life by compassionately sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ and providing life-affirming medical, educational, and support services to women, men, and families facing unexpected pregnancies, empowering them to choose life and experience hope in Christ.

Every day, women in Gaston County face unplanned pregnancies — often frightened, alone, and unsure of where to turn.

At Crisis Pregnancy Center of Gaston County, we are there for them. Through compassionate care, practical resources, and community connection, we help women choose life and discover that they have what it takes to be remarkable mothers. None of this happens without people like you.

Your generosity makes it possible for us to open our doors, keep our services free, and meet women in our community exactly where they are. When you give to CPC Gaston County, you are not simply writing a check, you are joining our pro-life mission.

“After my visits, I feel very calm, when I usually feel very alone. I know they pray for me there.” – Yesmi

“I am just appreciative that y’all are here. People fall on hard times. People struggle and y’all are here.” – Ursula

“I am so glad I came. Since coming here, my faith has gotten stronger and my life has gotten so much better. I know I will prosper in the future because of the prayers and knowledge I have received from this place. If someone was hesitant about coming here, I would tell them they are a friendly, encouraging, and prayerful group of people. It’s a nice organization that will change your life for the better.” – Jasmine

Danira has been a client at CPC for almost a year and a half. As a single mom of 3 children, she is incredibly thankful for the resources available to moms and babies. When asked about her experience at CPC and what has meant most to her, she shared a little about the community built here on love and prayer. “So many of the ladies here have been great. I can talk to them. I can vent and tell them what is going on in my life and I know they will pray for me and with me.” She shared that many of her prayers are being answered. “Colleen prayed with me last time about housing and we move to our new home next week. Even today, prayers are being answered because [CPC] can help me with some furniture for my new house. There are a lot of women out there who need the help. It’s amazing what is done here. I hope it can continue to grow.”

Destiny arrived at CPC in early 2025, pregnant with twins, struggling with her faith, feeling the weight of financial instability and a negative relationship with the father of those babies. Her light during those tough times was her mother and her immediate family. Her mother encouraged her to visit CPC because she was a client in the 90’s and remembers the love and support she encountered coming here.

Destiny recalls that first visit being “it” for her. “I talked with Janet about my struggles. She prayed for me. She offered me a Bible. I went to church when I was a kid, but this brought me back. I gave my life back to God that first day.” It was something she had been wrestling with for a while, but every appointment since then has built her faith. “I am back in church-the church I went to growing up. I am even trying to get my church connected to this place so we can help people together.”
